Little Saints Nursery is seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Room Leader to join our friendly and supportive Early Years team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Level 3 practitioner looking to take the next step in their career, working within a well-established nursery set in 17 acres of beautiful grounds on the edge of Pewsey.
You will work alongside experienced Room Leaders and nursery management to provide high-quality care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years, helping to create a nurturing environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.

About the Role
As Assistant Room Leader, you will support the Room Leader in delivering exceptional childcare and education while helping to maintain high standards across the nursery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the room
- Delivering high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
- Observing, assessing and monitoring children's development
- Supporting children's emotional, social and educational needs
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers
- Promoting safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing at all times
- Supporting and mentoring team members where appropriate
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive nursery environment
Essential Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Experience working within a nursery or childcare setting
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Knowledge of Keeping Children Safe in Education
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, professional and child-centred approach
