Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Tutor to support students in developing their language skills. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs, fostering a positive learning environment. Duties
- Design and deliver customised English lessons to students across various age groups and skill levels
- Assess students’ current abilities and develop personalised learning plans
- Utilise a range of teaching methods and resources to enhance engagement and understanding
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress
- Support students with special educational needs by adapting teaching strategies accordingly
- Monitor and record student performance and attendance
- Foster a supportive, encouraging classroom environment that promotes confidence and motivation
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress (where applicable)
Experience
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching English, preferably with children or young learners
- Knowledge of special education needs and strategies for inclusive teaching is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience working with diverse learning abilities is desirable but not essential
- Passion for education and helping learners achieve their full potential
