Ad-Hoc Speech and Language Therapist (Paediatric) – Nottingham
Location: Nottingham
Rate: £55 per hour (Outside IR35)
Contract Type: Ad Hoc / Flexible
Hours: 1–1.5 days per week
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to support children on an ad hoc basis in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking for flexible working arrangements while making a meaningful impact on children's communication and developmental outcomes.
The successful candidate will provide both assessment and intervention services, working directly with children on a one-to-one basis. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy tailored to individual needs and producing clear clinical reports and recommendations where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language and communication assessments for children.
- Deliver targeted one-to-one intervention programmes.
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Liaise with parents, carers, education staff and other professionals as appropriate.
- Provide written reports and recommendations following assessments.
Requirements
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience delivering paediatric speech and language assessments and interventions.
- Experience working with children with a range of speech, language and communication needs.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload.
