Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inspection Officer to join our Lettings team. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining property inspections, check in procedures and check out protocol.

The Inspection Officer will play a vital part in safeguarding the organisation’s reputation by identifying issues within a property and ensuring timely reporting to Landlords, Tenants and relevant departments within the business.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections properties in line with company policy and industry standards
- Create inventories and check in reports when a new tenancy is about to commence.
- Conduct thorough check out of properties at the end of a tenancy. Provide a detailed report to support any deposit claims.
- Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure timely rectification of any issues discovered upon inspection / check in / check out
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and organisational policies during all inspection activities.
- Maintain timetable of inspections to ensure they are conducted in line with the tenancy agreement.
Experience
- Proven experience in the lettings industry is preferred
- Attention to detail when conducting all inspection activities essential
- Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple inspections efficiently.
- Attention to detail is essential, alongside good communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration.
- Previous experience with inspection software would be preferred but not essential

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
