QA Auditor and Analyst - Customer Operations
We're a growth stage fintech operating in the US, spun out of the Richmond Group. We’re now emerging as a fast-growing, profitable, standalone business with ambitions to reach unicorn status in 5 years.
Over the past two years, our business has grown at an exciting pace, and we’re continuing to expand. To support this growth, we’re building a dedicated team to ensure we stay connected, informed, and ready to seize every opportunity. This is where your role comes in.
You’ll represent the Internal Audit team. In this hands-on role you will be responsible for assessing all customer facing operations areas of the business, where you will highlight and resolve operational issues, and in general report on how our business is performing.
This is a great role for people who have an eye for detail, interpret the underlying message, are hungry to find problems and want to take complete ownership to resolve challenges our business faces. This is an opportunity like no other and, together, we will navigate a time of incredible growth for our business, as well as a great deal of personal growth for us all.
What will you be doing?
In this role, every day is going to be a new challenge. Some days you will be required to put together a regularly scheduled audit, where you’ll risk assess all 50 customer facing agents and outline their strengths and weaknesses. Other days a Journalist may write an article criticizing the company, and you’ll need to investigate their claims! So, what does this mean for you…
- Become the eyes and ears for the business. It will be your responsibility to review the output of all customer facing operations, outlining all the strengths and weaknesses that they bring to the table.
- You will be highlighting who is a danger to the business, and putting pressure on the business to deal with it as necessary. You will do this by conducting risk-based audits across customer facing departments, and provide suggestions to enhance business operations, and mitigate risk.
- Shape and carry out an audit schedule, reviewing key areas of the business against company policies. This regular audit schedule will be necessary to support informed decision making for the business.
- You will act as the gatekeeper to company training. You will fill any gaps you find to ensure future trainees are not left vulnerable. You will also create testing to safeguard these policies.
- When you find issues, it’s your responsibility to make sure they’re being adhered to. It will be your duty to monitor and validate the implementation of audit findings.
- Investigate and produce clear, evidence-based audit reports of our customer journeys, communications, and customer/employee behaviour.
What do you look like?
You’re a super detail orientated person, whose accuracy and attention to detail borders on unhealthy. You love working out complex problems and understanding how things fit together. You have a hunger to learn and do whatever it takes to become an invaluable member of the team. You’re persistent, tenacious and not willing to give up on a task or project despite the hurdles thrown at you. You’re naturally inquisitive and are happy to venture out of your comfort zone, connecting the dots between people, processes and systems. It would also help if you have a strong knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask.
You might not know what you want to do for your whole life yet, but you’re motivated, early on in your career, and eager to carve out a role for yourself in a company that will give you the bandwidth to be able to do so.
