We are seeking a talented and experienced Hairdresser- Stylist specialising in hair extensions to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional hair services, including extensions, and have a flair for creating personalised styles that enhance client confidence. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hairdressing services, with a focus on hair extensions application and styling
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable hair solutions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest hair extension techniques and trends
- Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring clients feel valued and satisfied with their experience
- Manage appointment bookings efficiently at the front desk and assist with store management duties as required
- Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or retail products to enhance client experience and salon revenue
- Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise in hair extension techniques and customer service skills
- Ensure all tools and workstations are kept clean, organised, and adhere to health and safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience in hairdressing with specialised expertise in hair extensions application
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to perform barbering services is advantageous but not essential
- Experience in store management or front desk operations is desirable
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions and makeup application to offer comprehensive beauty services
- Skilled in upselling retail products or additional treatments to maximise client satisfaction and salon growth
- Mentoring abilities to support the development of junior staff members
