Join our newly re-energised Boots Opticians team in Wetherby - part of the UK’s largest Boots Opticians franchise group, Q&K Optical.
This well-established, high street branch has been at the heart of the local community for many years and is now entering a new chapter of transformation and investment following our acquisition in late 2024. With exciting changes, new equipment, and an ambitious leadership team, we’re looking for positive, driven, and patient-focused Optical Consultants to grow with us.
What you’ll be doing day-to-day:
- Delivering outstanding customer service to every patient, every time
- Supporting patients with framing, lenses, styling, fitting, and adjustments
- Learning how to match the right products to patients’ lifestyles and needs
- Using hospital-grade equipment to support our optometrists and pre-screening
- Advising and supporting contact lens patients through their journey
- Ensuring the store is always spotless, welcoming, and professional
- Collaborating with a passionate, experienced team to run a first-class shop floor
Who we’re looking for:
- Ideally, someone with experience in optics (but we can train the right person)
- A natural communicator who loves working with people and solving problems
- Career-hungry – you’re excited about the future and ready to grow with us
- Someone with a can-do, never-walk-past-it attitude
- Passionate about quality, professionalism, and high standards
- Team player who works closely with optometrists and retail colleagues alike
