Cable & Splicing Services (CASS) is a long-established leader in UK telecommunications, delivering high-quality network infrastructure and customer solutions nationwide. We’re looking for experienced Telecoms Sub-Duct Gangs to support ongoing fibre network build projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Telecoms Sub-Duct Gang, you’ll support fibre network build projects by rodding, roping, clearing ducts, and installing sub-duct within underground telecoms infrastructure.
Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Installing sub-duct within existing underground telecoms networks
- Rodding, roping, and clearing duct routes for fibre installation
- Identifying blockages and supporting network preparation works
- Working safely within chambers, footways, and carriageways
- Completing works in line with health & safety and street works requirements
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking reliable operatives with underground telecoms experience and a strong understanding of sub-duct installation activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- SA002, S007 (or equivalent), SA010
- NRSWA Unit 1
- K8 (Hand rodding in UG network)
- Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, First Aid at Work, and Banksman
- Valid NOPS Smart Awards Card (essential)
- Valid CSCS or EUSR Health & Safety accreditation within Construction or Utilities (essential)
- Experience working within underground telecoms networks
- Understanding of H&S requirements for lone and team working
- Previous fibre or network build experience
- PIA experience desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Clear DBS preferred

Pay: £150.00-£250.00 per day
