Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and within specified timeframes.
- Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking a variety of menu items, maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
- Enforce food safety regulations and hygiene practices across all kitchen areas.
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients to minimise waste.
- Support in menu planning, development, and implementation of new dishes.
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and culinary excellence within the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Extensive experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management.
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management.

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
