An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, experienced ENT band 6 nurse to join our dynamic MDT at the Royal Free trust but will predominantly work at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals. You will work independently and collaboratively, managing a clinical caseload, lead nurse-led clinics, and support patients throughout their journey
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership: Support the management ENT patients, conducting clinical assessments, planning care, and initiating treatment plans for in and out patients .
Nurse-Led Clinics: Run autonomous clinics (e.g.,minor procedures such as micro suction, tracheostomy tube change clinics, wound care clinics, & allergy testing).
MDT Collaboration: Work closely with ENT Consultants, Speech & Language Therapists and other MDT to coordinate patient journeys.
Patient Education: Act as a key resource for patients and families, providing expert advice, support, and detailed information regarding conditions and treatment plans.
Service Development: Support clinical audits, drive evidence-based practice, and contribute to the development of departmental guidelines and policies.
You will be supported by the band 7 CNS and ENT matron whilst working within a small supportive team of CNS's who take pride in providing compassionate care and maintaining excellent communication between them.

To support the Clinical Nurse Specialist, in the management and delivery of a high quality holistic service for patients who require specialist ENT care.
The post holder will have sound knowledge and skills in management of Ear, Nose and
Throat conditions
He/ she will work collaboratively with colleagues in the ENT team and other colleagues
across the Trust to facilitate high quality individualized care to patients
The post holder will support the CNS in monitoring standards of care by clinical audit
throughout the Trust and in delivering relevant teaching programme to all professional
groups
He/she is expected to work with minimal close supervision.
The post holder will be a member of the relevant clinical groups and represent ENT
nursing issues accordingly.
