We are delighted to be recruiting to a full time, permanent B7 Practitioner Psychologist in the Paediatric Psychology Service at the Evelina London Children's Hospital. This is an exciting, varied post providing a wide range of experiences and opportunities across several different specialities – neurology, inherited metabolic disease, and hearing implant.
We are looking for a motivated psychologist with an interest in working with children, young people and families with complex health conditions experiencing associated psychological distress or difficulties, as well as in working with professional colleagues in a collaborative manner to provide high quality holistic care.

For half of the role (0.5) the post holder will be based within the multidisciplinary teams providing care for children and young people under the care of the Evelina London with neurological conditions and inherited metabolic diseases. This is a varied role, with opportunity for both inpatient and outpatient working, as well as an important component of MDT working, liaison and consultation.
The other part of the role (0.5) will be based within the St Thomas’ Hearing Implant Service providing care for children and young people under assessment for, or who have received, a variety of hearing implants. This role is predominantly outpatient based, with opportunities for cognitive assessment and inpatient working as well as for consultation and liaison with a diverse MDT.
The post sits within Paediatric Psychology Services, which offers good opportunities for collaborative working, audit, research, teaching and training. We meet regularly as a team to explore clinical dilemmas and share new learnings and developments. Supervision will be provided by an experienced Psychologist within the team. Additional opportunities include but do not stop with; journal club, reflective practice groups, and peer supervision. Service relevant CPD is actively encouraged.
