Summary
We are seeking a caring and reliable Care Assistant to join our team in East end of Newcastle. This vital role involves supporting our client during the night. This lady a learning disability and is a joy to support
Shifts available: We have a 36 hour per week contract available. This will be a mixture of waking and sleeping nights.
Shifts are 20.00-08.00. 3 x shifts per week. You will need to work alternative weekends and have a degree of flexibiity to help cover sickness or annual leave.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care
- Develop and follow personalised care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ensure safety and comfort at all times.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently.
- Give Medications as per charts
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Valid driving license is advantageous but not essential if you live in the locality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
