Job Title: Mobile Forklift Engineer
Salary: £34,000 – £37,000 (plus annual bonus)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
Area: Edinburgh, Glasgow and surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities:
· Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
· Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
· Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
· Managing your own workload and organising your daily schedule effectively
· Completing service reports, job sheets and compliance documentation accurately
· Liaising with the parts department to source and fit the correct components
What We’re Looking For:
· Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer, Agricultural Engineer or similar
· Candidates from a vehicle technician background may be considered
· Strong knowledge of diesel engines and fault finding
· Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently
· Professional and customer-focused approach
· Experience with electrics and hydraulics
· LOLER knowledge (desirable)
· Full UK driving licence
Package & Benefits:
· Basic Salary: £34,000 – £37,000 (depending on experience)
· Overtime: Paid at 1.5x (availability dependant on depot demand)
· Company performance-related bonus (historically around £750 annually)
