We are currently seeking a Hygiene Operative to join our client. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within a factory workplace.
Hours : 6pm to 2am (Nightshift)
Weekend work on a rotated on a shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all equipment in the factory (machinery, belts, etc.) are cleaned to a high standard, as per procedure - full training and PPE will be provided
- Undertake Chemical training
- Ensure all equipment is used and stored as necessary
- Ensure regular checks of equipment and report any deficiencies
- To comply with managers/supervisors' instructions in a timely manner
- Report to your Supervisor/Manager of the area concerned any maintenance requirements
- To adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation and company rules and regulations
- Promptly report any accidents, incidents or near misses to your manager or supervisor
- To work in a manner as to prevent or minimize the risk of accidents
- To adhere to current legislation with regards to safe food production
- To undertake such other reasonable duties as may from time to time be required
Requirements:
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.
