Experienced Fish Filleters Required – Fraserburgh
TM&H Recruitment Ltd s currently recruiting experienced Fish Filleters on behalf of a leading seafood processing company based in Fraserburgh.
As a Fish Filleter, you will play a key role in preparing and processing seafood products to the highest quality standards for retail, wholesale, and foodservice customers. This position requires excellent knife skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Fillet fish accurately according to product specifications and quality standards.
● Remove bones, skin, and other unwanted material while minimising waste.
● Inspect fish for freshness and quality, reporting any issues to supervisors.
● Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
● Operate knives and processing tools safely and effectively.
● Meet daily production targets and work schedules.
● Clean and sanitise workstations, equipment, and tools after use.
Requirements:
●Previous experience in fish processing or seafood handling preferred.
●Strong knife skills and confidence working with filleting equipment.
●Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
●Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
●Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
●Comfortable working in a cold, wet, and refrigerated environment.
Pay & Benefits
Starting rate: £12.71 per hour (depending on experience and skill level).
Performance bonus: Average additional earnings of £3.17 per stone filleted.
Immediate starts available.
Full-time, ongoing work with a well-established seafood processor.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 4:00pm
Saturday: 6:00am – 12:00pm (when required)
