Domestic Gas & Oil Boiler Installation Engineer
National Travel Role – Head Office Rugby (Coventry) – Private Homeowners
An established national heating contractor with a head office in Rugby (Coventry) is seeking an experienced Domestic Gas & Oil Boiler Installation Engineer to carry out boiler installations and full heating system installs in private residential and high-end homes across the UK.
This role is exclusively focused on private homeowners and high-end domestic properties – no social housing work.
This is a national travel position involving regular UK-wide travel and overnight stays.
Salary negotiable depending on experience + travel uplifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of domestic gas boilers and oil boilers
- Full central heating system installations
- Boiler replacements in private residential properties
- Commissioning and testing of domestic heating systems
- Working in high-end homes with a strong customer service focus
- Nationwide travel to domestic installation sites
- Maintaining Gas Safe compliance and installation standards
About the Role
- UK-wide domestic boiler installations
- Working primarily within private homeowner properties
- High-end residential environments
- Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00
- Accommodation and subsistence provided when working away
- Company vehicle provided
Requirements
- Gas Safe Registered Engineer
- OFTEC Registered (Oil Boiler qualified) – LPG desirable
- Minimum 5 years’ experience installing domestic gas and/or oil boilers
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating or recognised apprenticeship
- Proven experience with boiler installation, heating systems, and domestic plant
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing to travel nationally and stay away when required
- DBS check (case-by-case consideration)
