Transport Administrator – Grantham
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced transport office based in Grantham. This is a temp to perm opportunity with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Hours:
Monday to Friday
8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay rate £12.71 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to support our logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience with various management systems. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient transportation management, shipping and receiving processes, and data entry tasks within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the transport and logistics team with daily administration duties
- Processing delivery paperwork and transport documentation
- Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal departments
- Updating transport systems and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with route planning and scheduling where required
- Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally
Requirements:
- Previous transport administration experience is essential
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
