Salary:
- £14.00 per hour Qualified with no senior experience.
- £14.30 per hour Qualified and less than 1 year senior experience.
- £14.80 per hour Qualified 1-2 years strong senior experience.
- £15.40 per hour Qualified 2+ years strong senior experience.
Sleep-In Rate: £50 per sleep
Shift Pattern: 2 on / 4 off rota including sleep-ins

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Residential Children's Support Worker to join our therapeutic children's home supporting young people who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect and disrupted attachments.

The Role
As a Senior Residential Children's Support Worker you will:
- Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home.
- Act as a positive role model for children and colleagues.
- Build trusting relationships with young people.
- Support children with education, routines, activities and life skills.
- Complete care planning, risk assessments and daily records.
- Ensure safeguarding and children's welfare remain the highest priority.
- Work closely with families, social workers and external professionals.
- Support the development of Residential Support Workers through coaching and guidance.
- Promote positive outcomes and help young people achieve their goals.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum 12 months experience in a Children's Residential Home.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Understanding of safeguarding and children's legislation.
- Ability to remain calm, resilient and professional in challenging situations.
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
Desirable:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Experience working with EBD, trauma-informed care or therapeutic models.
- Medication administration experience.
- Experience leading shifts.
