We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a friendly and supportive care home environment. This role is essential in helping to provide nutritious, well-balanced meals that support the health and wellbeing of our residents.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will work closely with the cook and wider care team to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly, safely, and hygienically at all times. Your duties will include preparing ingredients, assisting with basic food preparation, serving meals, cleaning kitchen equipment and dining areas, and following all food safety and hygiene standards.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in working within a care setting. While previous kitchen or catering experience is beneficial, it is not essential as full training will be provided. More importantly, you should be dependable, able to work as part of a team, and respectful of the needs of elderly residents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and meal service
