Our opening times will be Monday-Sunday - 15:00pm - 12:00am. There is scope for the cafe to open during the day in the very nearer future.
Key responsibilities: People
To greet all guests promptly and with a genuine welcome.
To deliver a fantastic experience for all our guests with friendly and natural interactions and positive body language.
To advise guests on their choices in a professional and helpful manner, meeting their individual needs and demonstrating great knowledge of our brand and products.
To handle all guest feedback in a positive manner and take appropriate follow up action, reporting to the Team Leader or Manager on duty.
To participate actively and share ideas in all team meetings and training activities, seeking to improve service and sales.
To work with colleagues as a team, communicating in a positive, caring and respectful manner atall times, supporting each other and welcoming new starters.
To comply with all reasonable requests from the management team on shifts to ensure that all scheduled tasks are completed and guest satisfaction is maximised.
Key responsibilities: Product
To ensure that all menu items are displayed, prepared and served to brand standards.
To follow all preparation and service procedures and menu specifications in order to consistently meet waste and portion control targets.
To complete any product and equipment checks and records required during shifts to ensure quality standards are maintained and that the store is legally compliant.
To implement all product promotions and new menu launches to time and quality standards.
To comply with all food safety standards and procedures as contained within the Amore Dolci Food Safety Manual.
Key responsibilities: Place
- To set up and clear down the store each day in accordance with brand standards.
- To make sure all unit equipment is clean and in working order ready for opening.
- To maintain all unit displays on the shift in accordance with company planograms and merchandising requirements.
- To maintain high standards of appearance and presentation in the dining areas throughout opening times.
- To follow all cleaning schedules throughout the store in order to ensure high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
- To follow the opening, closing and shift changeover procedures correctly to ensure effective handovers.
- To report to the Team Leader or Manager on duty any maintenance issues relating to the building and equipment.
- To follow all company cash and credit card handling and till control procedures to ensure the security of the store’s takings and that monies taken match the system records.
- To adhere to the store’s security procedures at all times, in order to prevent loss or damage to the store and its contents.
- To comply with all health and safety standards and procedures as contained within the Amore Dolci Safety Manual.
Key responsibilities: Performance
- To take responsibility for your own personal development, aiming to improve individual performance and achieve store KPIs on every shift.
- To maximise all sales opportunities through positive selling techniques, so that shift/daily average spend targets are consistently met.
- To actively communicate to guests any company promotions to increase revenue.

Weekend work with weekday flexibility preferre.
Qualifications
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer service
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Time management abilities to ensure efficient service
- Upselling techniques to enhance customer experience
- Culinary experience is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
