Auto Electrician
£26,436.80+ per year | 4-Day Working Week (Monday–Thursday)
Looking for a hands-on automotive role where quality actually matters — and you get Fridays off?
We’re expanding our electrical team and are on the lookout for a skilled Auto Electrician (or someone keen to become one) to help build high-quality vehicle conversions that genuinely stand out.
About Us
We’re specialists in vehicle conversions, delivering everything from large-scale welfare vehicle contracts to bespoke one-off builds. Our reputation is built on attention to detail, craftsmanship, and teamwork — and our electrical team is right at the heart of that.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be involved in a wide variety of electrical work, including:
- Installing automotive accessories such as dash cams, parking sensors, alarms, run-lock systems, inverters, and auxiliary battery/charging systems
- Carrying out lighting upgrades (work lights, beacons, strobes, interior lighting)
- Supporting vehicle conversion projects, including:
- Running conversion looms and battery cables
- Connecting air and water heaters
- Installing water and toilet pump systems
- Diagnosing and correcting faults with a strong eye for detail
- Using specialist tools and equipment safely and confidently
- Keeping your workspace clean, organised, and up to our quality standards
- Working closely with teammates and other departments to hit production targets
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys getting things right first time:
- Detail-focused with a passion for quality workmanship
- Strong hand-eye coordination and practical skills
- Confident problem-solver who can work independently
- A reliable team player with good communication skills
- Automotive or electrical experience is desirable — but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right person.
What You’ll Get
- Salary from £26436.80 per year, depending on experience
- 4-day working week — Monday to Thursday, 7:00am–5:30pm
- Overtime opportunities available
- 29 days paid holiday (including Bank Holidays)
- Company pension scheme
- Uniform provided
- Full-time, permanent role in a growing, supportive team
