About the role
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Site Supervisor to lead our cleaning team of 16 operatives on site every day in the Hayes area, starting September 2026.
You will start at 1.00pm to carry out stock checks, complete paperwork and prepare the team before the cleaning shift begins at 3.00pm. You will supervise the shift through to 6.00pm then carry out a final walkround, sign off and secure the site before finishing at 6.30pm.
You will lead by example. When you are not inspecting or managing you will be cleaning alongside the team.
What you will be doing
Carrying out daily stock checks and completing all required paperwork before the shift begins. Briefing the cleaning team at 3.00pm covering priorities, zone assignments and any issues. Supervising 16 operatives across all areas of the site. Carrying out quality inspections and signing off completion records before 6.30pm. Locking up and securing the site at the end of every shift. Maintaining the daily log book and complaint records. Arranging cover for absent staff and reporting to the Area Manager. Leading the team during annual deep cleans during closure periods.
What we are looking for
Minimum 3 years experience in a cleaning supervisor or team leader role. Experience managing a team of at least 5 people. Good knowledge of COSHH and health and safety requirements. Someone reliable, punctual and able to work independently. Strong communication skills to liaise with the client professionally at all times.
DBS requirement
All applicants must hold a valid enhanced DBS certificate before starting. If you do not currently hold one, the company will reimburse the cost once you have been selected for the role.
