Nene Golf Ltd, located in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire, is renowned as one of England’s finest Pay & Play destinations with a reputation for excellence on and off the course. We have two golf courses (Thorpe Wood Golf Couse & Orton Meadows Golf Course), which have just celebrated a key anniversary.
The post will be based at Thorpe Wood Golf Course, which is a parkland golf course situated in the centre of Peterborough.
The Candidate
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Greenkeeper to join our dedicated team
The candidate should demonstrate a passion for golf course management, a commitment to delivering exceptional course conditions and a keen eye for detail, particularly in the aesthetics and presentation of the course.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Competency in operating and maintaining a fleet of golf course machinery and equipment
- Competency in Health & Safety across all facets of golf course management
- Solid understanding of greenkeeping principles and practices
- The ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- The ability to work in a team and be a team player
- Excellent communication skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- An interest in golf (desirable)
Essential Experience:
- Previous experience of working outdoors
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience of Golf Course Maintenance
