Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development and learning through play-based activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
- Support the management team in maintaining nursery policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 3 Diploma).
- Previous nursery experience and experience with children in various age groups is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
