Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated routes. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a clean driving licence, and the ability to manage deliveries in a timely manner. Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to complete multiple drop-offs across various locations
- 6 days a week required, must be able to do early starts. 0400
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly during transit
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and documentation as required
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and traffic laws during all operations
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock organisation and heavy lifting when necessary
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with multi-drop routes
- Valid <PERSON> driver licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, demonstrating safe driving practices over extended periods
- Warehouse experience is advantageous, particularly in handling heavy lifting tasks
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers
- Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritising deliveries to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with route planning software or GPS devices is beneficial
