About the Role
We are currently looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join our growing team delivering fresh and frozen halal food products to restaurants, butchers, supermarkets, catering businesses and wholesale customers.
This role involves multi-drop deliveries using refrigerated vehicles while ensuring products are delivered safely, professionally, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicle cleanliness
· Deliver fresh and frozen halal food products to customers
· Complete multi-drop deliveries efficiently and safely
· Maintain correct temperatures for chilled and frozen products
· Load and unload goods when required
· Ensure all delivery paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
· Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points
· Follow all road transport and health & safety regulations
· Report any vehicle defects, delivery issues, or delays promptly
· Able to pick from Warehouse as and when required
Requirements
· Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
· Valid CPC Qualification Card
· Valid Digital Tachograph Card
· Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
· Experience driving refrigerated vehicles preferred
· Good communication and customer service skills
· Physically fit due to manual handling involved
· Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Desirable
· Experience delivering food products
· Knowledge of halal food handling standards
· Multi-drop delivery experience
