Scaffolder with HGV Licence Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and safety-conscious Scaffolder with an HGV Licence to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting scaffolding materials to and from sites, as well as assembling, maintaining, inspecting, and dismantling scaffolding structures on a variety of projects.

Duties
- Safely transport scaffolding materials and equipment to and from construction sites using company HGV vehicles.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
- Erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Inspect scaffolding for stability, safety, and compliance throughout the duration of each project.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and site personnel to facilitate a smooth workflow.
- Ensure all scaffolding materials are stored securely and maintained in good condition.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with site preparation and the handling of tools and materials required for scaffold assembly.
- Maintain accurate records of scaffold inspections, vehicle checks, and work progress.
Skills & Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Licence.
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card preferred.
- Proven experience as a Scaffolder or within a related construction trade.
- CISRS Scaffolder Card preferred.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relating to scaffold erection and dismantling.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques used in scaffolding work.
- Strong understanding of scaffold stability and structural safety principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials and working at height.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
