About the Role
Spring Forth Health Care is looking for an experienced and confident On-Call Team Leader based in Wirral. This is a senior operational role with two fixed on-call windows daily and flexible daytime hours to complete field-based quality checks across our services.
Your working week:
- 7:00–9:00am daily — morning on-call (fixed)
- 9:00am–5:00pm — flexible spot checks across the week, your schedule
- 5:00–10:00pm daily — evening on-call (fixed)
What you'll be doing:
- Confirming all morning visits have been attended and briefing the office team at 9:00am
- Completing spot checks across domiciliary and supported living services — client checks, supervisions, surveys, and supported living house checks
- Maintaining the On-Call Log and submitting written spot check reports weekly
- Holding full on-call authority from 5:00pm as first point of contact for staff, incidents, and emergencies
- Attending service user locations when required — missed visits, safeguarding concerns, welfare issues
- Leading incident responses and escalating to the Registered Manager where required
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within health or social care
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding principles and emergency procedures
- Confident, autonomous decision-maker — able to lead without immediate supervision
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK (we do not offer visa or skilled worker sponsorship)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
- Prior experience in an on-call or out-of-hours leadership role
- Familiarity with CQC-regulated environments
