Production Planner Castle Manufacturing are recruiting a Production Planner for a busy manufacturing operation based in North Yorkshire
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Planner, Production Scheduler or Manufacturing Coordinator to join a well-established Yorkshire business operating within a fast-paced process manufacturing environment.
The role plays a key part in ensuring efficient production scheduling, maintaining quality standards, supporting operational performance and coordinating production activity across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage detailed production plans aligned to customer demand, stock availability and operational capacity
- Coordinate production scheduling to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime
- Communicate production plans clearly across Production, Logistics, Raw Materials, Technical and Sales teams
- Maintain and develop production planning databases, usage figures and stock monitoring records
- Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders regarding production scheduling and order coordination
- Ensure production activity supports high standards of health, safety, quality and operational performance
About You We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience within production planning, scheduling or manufacturing coordination roles, ideally within feed, food, process manufacturing or similar production environments.
You will also demonstrate:
- Strong production planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Good IT skills including planning systems, spreadsheets and databases
- Understanding of manufacturing operations, production flow and logistics coordination
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
This is a permanent role offering a competitive benefits and salary £41,000. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment and is commutable from York, Pocklington, Malton, Selby & surrounding areas
