Job Description - Waste Operative/Driver with Full Driving Licence
Job Title: Waste Cleaning Operative - Silverburn Shopping Centre G53
Shifts: 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm - working 5days over 7days to including weekends
Reports to: Site Supervisor
MUST HOLD FULL DRIVING LICENCE
40hrs per week
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dealing with the waste collection and recycling needs in a busy Shopping Centre
- Carrying out reactive tasks when and where the business requires
- Providing a customer friendly atmosphere towards all our customers
- To ensure high standards of cleaning are maintained.
- To work in accordance with Company Health and Safety Procedures, adopting safe systems of work.
- To check equipment prior to use and report defective equipment to a member of Management.
- To report any hazardous or potentially hazardous situation to a member of Management.
- Operate equipment for which you will be given full training or have been given full instructions.
- To ensure that all hazardous substances are handled in a safe and responsible manner.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations (would be an advantage)
Person Specification:
Cleaning industry experience
Great work ethic / Customer focused / Effective communication.
Salary: £13.45 per hour
