Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: £51,356 – £54,495 per annum + £3,000 Retention Payment

Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award-winning recruitment agency, is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager – Children & Families to join a high-performing Children’s Social Care service in Bradford.
This permanent opportunity is ideal for an experienced Children’s Social Work Team Manager looking to lead frontline safeguarding services, drive performance, and deliver outstanding outcomes for children, young people, and families.
This role offers the chance to work within a supportive leadership structure, overseeing complex casework across child protection, child in need, and care proceedings, while embedding best practice and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and supervise a team of Social Workers within Children & Families services
- Oversee complex safeguarding, child protection, and court proceedings
- Drive performance, quality assurance, and compliance with statutory frameworks
- Provide reflective supervision, coaching, and professional development
- Ensure high-quality assessments, care planning, and risk management
- Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals across safeguarding services
- Contribute to service improvement, Ofsted readiness, and best practice development
- Promote a culture of high performance and child-centred practice
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Registration with Social Work England
- Significant experience in Children’s Social Care, including safeguarding and child protection
- Previous management or supervisory experience within a social work setting
- Strong knowledge of UK safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
