An exciting Role in a dynamic independent residential survey practice has opened up, we are looking for a hard-working individual to join our friendly and supportive office.
Part-time role - 16 - 20 hours per week, 9:30 am - 2:30 pm ( Mon, Tue, Thurs & Fridays)
Zero Hours Contract - We will consider applicants who cannot work during the school holidays
You will have
- Previous experience in a property, surveying, estate agency, conveyancing, legal, or construction.
- The ability to remain calm and professional when handling client enquiries and occasionally challenging situations.
- Confidence and professionalism when dealing with clients, surveyors, solicitors and other professionals by telephone and email.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn bespoke software systems.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and use your own initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of diary management, scheduling appointments and coordinating workloads.
- Experience of document management, filing, scanning and maintaining accurate records.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to improve processes and contribute new ideas.
- A professional and friendly telephone manner.
We are particularly keen to hear from those with experience dealing with Party Wall matters, residential surveys, conveyancing, or property transactions.
Experience with CRM systems or similar tools would be advantageous but is not essential.
A genuine desire to provide excellent customer service and support the continued growth of the business.
You will be working independently in a small home-based office in Witham, handling Party Wall Matters, deploying good organisational skills, supporting a residential surveyor and a property manager, coordinating and booking appointments, email management and client care.
You should have good business grammar and attention to detail.
Life experience and a strong background in office management will be necessary,
based in a semi-rural location, so having your own car would be advantageous.

An immediate start is required - there will be scope to increase hours and job diversity.
