We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of restaurant staff, including serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimise service efficiency
- Assist in food production and cooking as needed, maintaining high culinary standards
- Provide training and mentorship to new and existing staff to promote professional development
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant environment
- Support the recruitment process by participating in interviewing potential team members
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Excellent team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Familiarity with restaurant service procedures, including serving and hospitality etiquette
- Previous experience in culinary roles such as chef or barista is advantageous
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- A personable demeanour with excellent communication skills
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality or culinary arts are desirable but not essential
