Class 2 Driver – Immediate Start Available
We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 Drivers to join our team for ongoing general haulage work based in Coventry.
This is a long-term, full-time Class 2 Driver role offering consistent shifts, organised routes, and a supportive transport team. It is an excellent opportunity for a Class 2 Driver looking for ongoing general haulage work with regular hours and reliable weekly earnings.
Pay Rate
- £16.00 per hour
- Overtime available after standard weekly hours
- Weekend shifts available (enhanced pay rates may apply)
Key Responsibilities – Class 2 Driver
- Drive a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle on scheduled general haulage routes
- Complete local and regional deliveries to commercial customers
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Ensure loads are transported safely and securely
- Follow all driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations
- Provide a professional service at every delivery point
Requirements – Class 2 Driver
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedules
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Shifts – Class 2 Driver
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 05:00 and 07:00
- 8–12 hour shifts
- Weekend work available but not essential
