Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality
- Assist in food preparation activities as needed, maintaining food safety standards at all times
- Set up dining areas, including table arrangements and cleanliness checks before service
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Support barista duties when required, preparing coffee and specialised beverages with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in catering, serving or restaurant environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Basic food preparation skills are desirable
- Barista experience is a plus but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- A proactive approach to learning new skills within the hospitality sector
