We are currently recruiting for a SEN School in Wimbledon, who are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. This is a long term role with a view to going permanent.
The School caters for pupils aged 3–19 years with a range of special educational needs, including PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), Complex Needs, Visual Impairments (VI), and Hearing Impairments (HI).
Role Responsibilities:
- Supporting students both in and out of the classroom to access learning and achieve their individual goals.
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to pupils' needs.
- Providing personal care and physical support where required.
- Encouraging communication, social development, and independence.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
