The Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our talented kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high standards of food quality and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations
- Oversee service to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of dishes
- Contribute to the development of seasonal menus in line with the Davy’s brand
- Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen team to maintain a positive working environment
- Manage stock control, ordering, and food cost efficiency
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen areas
About You
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in a high-volume environment
- Passion for fresh, seasonal food and attention to detail
- A confident leader with strong communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen
- Well-organised with strong multitasking ability
- Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance standards

Pay: £14.50-£16.50 per hour
