Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic outgoing person to become an ATV Instructor. The job will involve talking to and instructing all ages and abilities to get the most out of their quad bike experience. This will suit a confident, practical person that can work as part of a full time team. This is a seasonal and part-time position and exact hours and days will vary. This position is probably only available until the schools go back in September but may lead to further work for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Assist experienced instructors in delivering quad biking lessons and guided tours
- With experience, get to the position of guiding small groups around without senior Instructors present
- Get involved pre-day bike inspections and essential daily maintenance
- Deliver verbal safety briefings to individuals and groups on all aspects of our operation
- Have an understanding of mechanical workings and show enthusiasm to learning about ATV safe operation
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with participants and answering questions
- Observe and learn proper riding techniques, safety procedures, and instructional methods
- Contribute to maintaining the organisation and cleanliness of the activity area
- Other responsibilities to include: Cleaning of ATV and equipment. Track and Trail maintenance and upkeep
- Previous experience or interest in sports coaching or outdoor activities is desirable
- Strong teaching abilities with a friendly, approachable manner
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with participants of all ages
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: £12.71 per hour
