SEN Home Tutor – 1:1 (Early Years/PMLD) – Salford, M7
Compassionate, experienced SEN tutor needed for 1:1 home-based sessions with a 3-year-old child with Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and complex physical/communication needs, in the M7 area of Salford.
Hours: 5 hours/week (1 hour, Mon–Fri, 1:1, AM/PM TBC) Pay: £28–£42 per hour, depending on experience — to be confirmed Delivery: In the family home
Focus: Sensory and play-based early years development, communication (non-verbal/Total Communication approaches), cause-and-effect play, joint attention.
Looking for:
- Experience with PMLD, complex physical needs, and/or early years SEND
- Confidence with non-verbal communication approaches (e.g. Objects of Reference)
- Willingness to complete moving and handling training before starting
- Patient, observant, and able to work closely with a wider care team
