About Kingsfield Group
We're a collection of family businesses based at Kingsfield Golf and Leisure.
We run a golf and leisure club, a wedding venue (Kingsfield Barn) and a B2B telecoms business (Source Telecom Scotland). We're looking for the right person to own corporate and B2B marketing across all of it.
The Role
You'll own the corporate marketing side for Kingsfield — our "Host without Hassle" proposition, our Done-for-you Golf Days, our DMC Partner Programme, and our corporate memberships.
You'll also build the marketing function at Source Telecom Scotland — strategy, brand, website, top-of-funnel lead generation.
Plus you'll contribute to the marketing strategy and event design for our wedding venue and corporate event space, Kingsfield Barn.
You'll be based at our golf centre in Linlithgow and your time will split roughly:
- 2 days a week — Source Telecom Scotland
- 1.5 days a week — Kingsfield Barn
- 1.5 days a week — Kingsfield Golf & Leisure (corporate)
You'll be employed by Source Telecom and report to the Commercial Director of Kingsfield Leisure and the Managing Director of Source Telecom.
What you'll actually be doing
- Own the "Host without Hassle" corporate strategy across Kingsfield Group, working toward targets for corporate-day revenue, corporate memberships and advertising boards
- Build and maintain and market to a target list and active pipeline of Destination Management Companies and corporate clients, and convert them
- Launch and run the DMC Partner Programme — priority booking, referral commission, dedicated contact
- Take ownership of LinkedIn for both Kingsfield and Source Telecom — optimised profiles, weekly posts, and a minimum of 5 targeted outreach messages a week to directors and DMCs
- Run a structured email marketing programme — monthly to the DMC and corporate database, bi-monthly to the Source Telecom database — with clear hooks and measurable response
- Define and deliver the Source Telecom marketing strategy, including a review of brand, website and newsletter with prioritised recommendations
- Plan and deliver corporate events at Kingsfield drawn from Source Telecom's database — turning our facilities into a business development asset
- Contribute to the Kingsfield Barn marketing strategy, including an influencer outreach plan and creative ideas to raise the venue's profile
- Produce in-house video content — one per business per month, not stock footage. Real interviews, real day-in-the-life stuff, real testimonials and work with our outsourced social media producer to create posts per the strategy.
- Support in the reporting of monthly on the metrics that matter — enquiries, leads, website traffic, newsletter opens, messages responded to on Linked In, Social Media channel performance
What we're looking for
Essential — and we will ask for examples:
- Proven, demonstrable experience generating commercial results in both corporate / B2B marketing and events marketing. We need to see campaigns you've run, pipeline you've built and revenue you've helped deliver — not just activity for its own sake
- Strong brand optimisation experience
- Excellent attention to detail and flexibility.
- A track record of working to commercial targets and reporting against them, not awareness for awareness's sake
- Confident, hands-on LinkedIn marketer — strong in both organic content and direct outreach
- Strong email marketing skills — list management, segmentation, campaign build, performance reporting
- A clear communicator who can produce on-brand copy and assets
- Commercially minded, self-directed, and comfortable owning targets without being chased
- Able to work across multiple businesses and switch context without losing momentum
Nice to have:
- Experience marketing within hospitality, events, golf, leisure or telecoms
- Experience working with Hubspot
- Existing relationships with Destination Management Companies or the corporate events market in Scotland
- Experience managing brand and website refresh projects
- Experience working with social-media influencers
- Familiarity with CRM tools, analytics, and design platforms in particular Canva
What you'll get
- A real opportunity to shape something. Three connected businesses, one small team, fast decisions, no committees. Direct access to the directors. If it's good, we say yes.
- A nine-month contract with genuine potential to extend or become permanent for the right person.
- Holiday entitlement of 32 days including Bank Holidays.
- Based at our beautiful golf centre in Linlithgow
- A clear set of objectives, a real budget, and the autonomy to deliver against them
To apply
Send a CV and a link to your career portfolio.
We're particularly interested in seeing concrete examples of work you've done — specifically campaigns where you've generated measurable commercial results in corporate / B2B and events marketing. Numbers and outcomes carry more weight with us than long lists of responsibilities.
The process
If your portfolio and CV catches our eye, we’ll invite you to a telephone interview. If you ace that, then subsequently you’ll come in to meet our Directors for an interview and then if you are looking like one of our top candidates, you’ll come into meet some of the team members you’ll be working with.
