That's why we are looking for a skilled and compassionate Chef to help us deliver the highest standard of culinary excellence.
What You'll Do:
- Plan and prepare nutritious and appetizing meals for our residents, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Create diverse menus that cater to a range of tastes and dietary requirements.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly maintained in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the care team to understand residents' individual needs and adapt menus accordingly.
- Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Foster a positive and enjoyable dining experience for residents.
- Hours of work: Monday - Sunday ( alternative weekends) 8am-6pm
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a care home or similar setting.
- Knowledge of special dietary needs, including soft and pureed diets.
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certification or equivalent.
- A commitment to providing the highest quality of care.
