Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Hotel Night Reception Team Member to join our front desk team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during overnight shifts, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all visitors. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a friendly and professional demeanour throughout the shift
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using hotel management software
- Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, and in person with exemplary phone etiquette and hospitality skills
- Address guest requests promptly, including room changes, information about local attractions, or special amenities
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations while ensuring confidentiality
- Monitor security of the premises during night hours, reporting any suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Assist with administrative tasks such as balancing cash registers and preparing reports as required
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready and facilities are in optimal condition
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel reception or guest services is highly desirable
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous to assist diverse clientele
- Excellent communication skills with strong phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- A friendly, approachable manner with a focus on delivering outstanding guest service
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining vigilance and professionalism
- Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of hotel operations, reservation systems, and hospitality standards is preferred
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required
