Simply Automotive Ltd — a proud, accredited Castrol Service Centre — is looking for an exceptional MOT Tester to join our busy, friendly, and professional team. The Role
As a sole MOT Tester, you'll be a key figure in our workshop — trusted, respected, and given the space to do what you do best:
- Conduct Class 4 (and Class 7 if applicable) MOT tests to DVSA standards
- Maintain accurate, compliant records using the DVSA VTS system
- Communicate test outcomes clearly and professionally to customers
- Identify and report defects, failures, and advisory items accurately
- Keep the MOT bay safe, compliant, and immaculately presented
- Work alongside our workshop team to fast-track repairs and retests
- Uphold Simply Automotive's reputation for accuracy and excellence
What We're Looking For
- Current, valid DVSA MOT Tester authorisation (Class 4 essential)
- Proven experience conducting MOT tests professionally
- A meticulous eye for detail and an uncompromising commitment to safety
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- A calm, professional manner with a positive attitude
- Full UK driving licence

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
