We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our friendly housekeeping team at Langham Hotel. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards, contributing to the welcoming and relaxing environment we’re known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms and bathrooms to a high standard
- Replenish amenities, linen, and towels
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including corridors, lounges, and function rooms
- Report any maintenance issues or lost property promptly
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team and other hotel departments
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and hygiene standards
- Uphold the hotel’s values of courtesy, discretion, and professionalism
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not essential – full training will be provided
- A strong eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and reliability
- Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to help guests when needed
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required
