Robertson Recruitment are working with a leading provider of precision laser cutting, fabrication, and engineering solutions. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated welder to join our skilled production team.
As a Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components and assemblies to customer specifications, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday
08:00am - 16:30.
30 minute unpaid break.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Fabricating and assembling metalwork to required tolerances.
- Carrying out quality checks on completed work.
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
- Working collaboratively with fabrication and production teams to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in MIG and/or TIG welding.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience working within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
