Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer / Prepper to join our team in preparing carbon fibre surfaces for painting and ensuring quality paintwork finishes. The role involves using hand, power and air tools to prepare vehicles and vehicle parts, and applying varying paint types.
Duties:
- Prepare carbon fibre surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas not to be painted
- Fill cavities, pin holes.
- Mix and apply primers and sealers to prepare surfaces for painting
- Apply base coats, lacquers and resins
- Assist in the paint mixing process as required
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished work meets standards
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge to operate tools effectively
- Proficient in using hand tools for preparation tasks- Capable of heavy lifting when moving materials or equipment
- Skilful in handling power tools for surface preparation.
- Able to apply coatings with a good gun finish in Matt, Satin and Gloss coatings.

Pay: £13.00-£18.00 per hour
