We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Duties
As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Implementing and following care plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintaining accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition using IT systems.
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- A genuine passion for caring for others and improving their quality of life.
- Must be currently registered with NISCC or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months.
