We're looking for a Waste Treatment Facilities Manager to lead the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our clinical waste facilities across Nottingham and Bradford, ensuring high standards in waste processing and environmental responsibility.
Role Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of clinical waste treatment facilities, ensuring efficient and compliant processes
- Lead, manage, and motivate site teams to deliver operational excellence and maintain a strong safety culture
- Ensure full compliance with UK environmental regulations, permits, and health & safety standards
- Manage the handling, transportation, and disposal of clinical waste in line with regulatory requirements
- Implement and continuously improve procedures to minimise environmental impact and enhance operational performance
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:
- WAMITAB/COTC Level 4 High Risk Operator Competence for Managing Physical and Chemical Treatment of Hazardous Waste
- Proven experience within waste management, ideally within clinical or hazardous waste operations
- Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation, regulatory compliance, and waste treatment processes
