We are currently recruiting for General Operatives to join a friendly and supportive manufacturing team based in Wellington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a hands-on role within a busy production environment.
The Role:
- Reading and following job tickets, labels and work instructions accurately
- Identifying products and ensuring the correct labels are used
- Supporting the production process to meet quality standards
- Carrying out general production and assembly duties
- Ensuring products are prepared correctly for the next stage of manufacture
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
Requirements:
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and labels accurately
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
