We are seeking independent, fully licensed, and equipped Waste Removal & House Clearance Contractors to partner with us on a project-by-project basis for our regional brand: London House Clearance.
You will be responsible for executing professional property clearances, junk removal, and waste disposal across London and Essex. We handle residential hoarder clean-outs, office clearances, garden waste, and light demolition debris. As an independent contractor, you must manage your own crew, vehicles, and legal disposal routes autonomously.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work:
- Property Clearances: Execute full or partial house, garage, storage unit, and office clean-outs.
- Specialist Disposals: Safely remove and responsibly dispose of heavy furniture, mattresses, old white goods/appliances, and electronic waste (WEEE).
- Waste Sorting & Recycling: Sort collected items efficiently to maximize waste recycling and minimize landfill impact.
- Site Debris Removal: Clear out garden debris and minor building/construction waste materials safely.
- Client Relations: Maintain a polite, empathetic, and professional demeanor, especially during sensitive residential probate or hoarder clearances.
Mandatory Compliance, Tools & Qualifications:
- Environment Agency Waste Carrier Licence: You must hold a valid, active Upper Tier Waste Carrier Licence in the UK and provide your registration number upon onboarding. (An absolute legal requirement to prevent fly-tipping liabilities).
- Public Liability Insurance: You must hold active business Public Liability Insurance (minimum £1,000,000 cover) and provide your certificate.
- Vehicles & Equipment: You must own/lease and operate your own commercial waste clearance vehicles (e.g., Luton van, tipper truck, or caged tipper) equipped with heavy-duty moving tools, straps, and safety PPE.
- Business Status: Must be registered as a Sole Trader or Limited Company in the UK, handling your own taxes and invoicing the agency formally per project.
- Mobility: Valid UK driving licence with access to sites across London, Essex, and surrounding service areas.

Pay: £12.21-£52.65 per hour
